Ashley (Kathleen) Camac
Chief Executive Officer
Ashley Camac has more than 20 years of Professional leadership and Military Lifestyle Experience. In August 2021, Ashley assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer for Zero8Hundred, a premier non-profit organization that supports Veterans and their families transitioning to Civilian life.
Prior to joining Zero8Hundred, Ashley served as the Executive Director for USO San Diego, bringing her operational and fundraising strategies to fruition; Ashley revamped the organization by realigning priorities, locational operations, and fundraising goals; Ashley ultimately and successfully assisted with taking the organization from an independent, local, 501C3 to a merged entity with the USO Worldwide headquarters. Prior to USO, Ashley served as the Navy Region Southwest, Metro San Diego, Ombudsman Coordinator, serving as a Regional Train the Trainer and was previously the President of the San Diego Chief Petty Officer Spouse Association; these positions in, particular in combination with her own Military lifestyle experience has shown direct, immediate, positive impact allowing for positive outcomes of those who need it the most.
Ashley is dedicated to being a servant leader in her community and is an active member at several organizations including Rotary 33, North San Diego Business Chamber, San Diego Military Advisory Council, San Diego Veterans Coalition, North County Philanthropy Council and through the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce serves in both the Defense, Military and Veteran group as well as the Veterans Business Alliance. Ashley was the 2016 Chair, for the San Diego Military Family Collaborative Conference and graduated the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Lead San Diego Influence Course in 2020.
Ashley was named the 2017 Military Spouse of the Year for Naval Base Point Loma through Armed Forces Insurance. Ashley is presently on the 2022 Strategy Team for San Diego Women’s Week 2022. Ashley embraces the military lifestyle as she has been married to her sailor for 22 years and has two adult children, one who has graduated from U.C. Davis and another who is a current college student.
Ashley secured her Masters’ Degree in Strategic Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University
