Christopher Burrell, recently retired after 23 years of Naval service. He is in his final year of the Bachelor of Social Work Program at The University of Massachusetts Global. For the last six years he worked exclusively with the women and men of the Armed Services at multiple Navy Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities from San Diego to Bahrain where he was able to earn his Alcohol and Drug Counseling II certification in addition to an Associates of Science degree for Drug and Alcohol Counseling from National University. Christopher has an extensive military background with firsthand experience in transitioning from Military to Civilian. He has a passion for helping veterans overcome barriers to transitions. He is excited to give back and be a service to the Military families who have made it possible for him and his family to safely live out their life under the watchful eye of the United States Military and the families who support them.
