Included are resources that provide access to online skills assessments and industry matching tools, coaching by sector leader in the area of interest, access to community resources for resume writing and interview skills, access to veterans resource centers, directory of small/mid-sized companies ready to hire, linkages to existing education and employment navigators, and access to current employment website directories.
Our team at zero8hundred will provide you with information and resources on opportunities to acquire the knowledge, skills, desirable qualities of behavior and character, wisdom and general competence that will enable you to enhance or change careers following your military service and fully participate in and enjoy the social, political, economic, and intellectual life of your new civilian community.
zero8hundred is committed to connecting active duty military, veterans, and their families to resources that can help furnish their basic survival needs.
This pillar includes emergency food, shelter/housing, material goods, transportation, utilities, financial services and legal aid services.
Health is one of zero8hundred's quintessential pillars which includes programs that provide preventive, diagnostic and treatment services in a variety of community and hospital-based settings to help people achieve, maintain and enhance a state of emotional well-being, personal empowerment and the skills to cope with everyday demands without excessive stress or reliance on alcohol or other drugs.
Included are resources for health screenings and diagnosis, health supportive services, counseling services, mental health support services, and substance abuse.
This zero8hundred pillar includes programs that provide organized opportunities for active duty military members, veterans, and their families to meet, socialize, share experiences, create new memories and most importantly, stay connected.
Included are support groups, social development, self-care and personal enrichment, and military family support services.
