How It Works

You served us
Now let Us serve you.

Zero8Hundred offers free individualized support one year prior to military separation and up to one year post-military separation. The Zero8Hundred team are trained Peer Navigators, with lived military experience, who are committed to working alongside transitioning service members to help them design and execute the post-military journey they want.

Here's how it works:

STEP ONE

FILL OUR ENROLLMENT FORM

Tell us about yourself and your military service so we can prepare to serve you better. It only takes 5-10 minutes to fill out our form. If you're ready to enroll, you can find our form here.

STEP TWO

meet your peer navigator

At intake, you'll be matched with a Zero8Hundred Peer Navigator who will will meet with you by phone, in-office, or video conference to conduct an initial assessment and make referrals for any immediate needs you may have such as food, housing, or crisis support.

STEP THREE

ACCESS OUR RESOURCES

Once your Peer Navigator has assessed your needs and goals, they'll developed your individual transition plan. You'll then be referred to our community partners and resources that best suit your needs. We have vetted and worked with 150+ resources across Southern California. You'll get first dibs on local job postings, educational opportunities, discounted wellness programs, and event invitations.

STEP FOUR

ONGOING SUPPORT

As you transition, your Peer Navigator will regularly check in to assess your needs, provide ongoing support, and make referrals to community partners for relevant resources.

STEP FIVE

POST TRANSITION

Once you've "graduated" and transitioned to civilian life, Zero8Hundred will conduct a post-program survey to assess outcomes. Long term, Zero8Hundred will continue to provide you with ongoing support via our Alumni Network including resource connections, a monthly newsletter, and connections to local networking events.
